WARNING! These games contain very bad language and scenes of burglary.
On the Burgle!

Dave jumps trains to three different towns with the intention of robbing houses in each of them during the course of one night.
Snatch all of the goods with his trusty swag bag before the home owners return.

I originally created this in 2005 for the Spectrum Games Compo purely in BASIC.
It somehow won, even though it ran pretty badly.
This version has been tweaked and compiled to run in machine code in 2024.
Back on the Burgle!

After being kicked off of a train in Tilehurst, Dave encounters a dodgy pawn shop owner called Roger.
Roger suggests that Dave sell all of his stolen goods to him for stock.
Thus begins Dave's night of thievery around the area, breaking into as many houses as he can during the night.
Go for the maximum potential profit before inevitably getting caught.

The original version was programmed in BASIC in 2006 and was my attempt at creating a town that is randomly generated for each session.
This 2024 edition has also been tweaked and compiled into machine code.
Legend of the Burgle!

Two years have passed...
Dave is partaking in his favourite hobby of robbing houses when he once again bumps into Roger.
Roger has lost his shop due to being caught with stolen goods and is now interested in becoming a burglar.
Guide them both through a night of trespassing, stealing and outrunning the police.

This was the first one to be compiled for its original release in 2006.
Sadly, it was plagued with a game braking bug that prevented progress past the first town.
The issue has been fixed and other tweaks have been made to this 2024 release.
The Way of the Burgle!

A few more years have passed...
Dave and Roger are now also accompanied by George, another reprobate who also is a burglar.
The three miscreants set off to rob as many houses as possible during one night, driving their van from town to town and getting up to all sorts of shenanigans.

Originally created in 2007, an incomplete version was released into the wild around 2012 which was missing the final run of houses.
This 2024 version marks the complete official release.
